On October 14, 2021, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Commission’s Article 4.7 Rulemaking package and filed the regulations with the Secretary of State. These regulations will take effect on January 1, 2022.

Changes to the Annual Vessel Reporting Form submission requirements
On December 15th, the MISP presented a webinar focused on the recently approved amendment to California’s biofouling regulations. These recent amendments require the Marine Invasive Species Program Annual Vessel Reporting Form (AVRF) to be submitted via the Commission’s web-based user interface, MISP.IO beginning on January 1, 2021. During the webinar, Commission staff demonstrated how to complete and submit an AVRF through MISP.IO.
