Carmel Area Wastewater District
The Carmel Area Wastewater District was granted sovereign tide and submerged lands in trust in 1929 for sanitary facilities and other public uses not inconsistent with the terms of its grant. In 1953, the District transferred a portion of its grant back to the state.
