Doheny Ocean Desalination Project

The Commission, as a responsible agency under the California Environmental Quality Act, has prepared an Addendum to the South Coast Water District’s Final EIR (State Clearinghouse No. 2016031038).

The District has proposed to develop an ocean water desalination facility in Dana Point, California, at Doheny State Beach and vicinity that includes a subsurface intake water system, an ocean water conveyance pipeline system, a desalination facility, a brine disposal system, and appurtenant facilities.
